1st journal entry, for those interested(just me)

Sun Feb 15, 2009, 5:03 PM
  • Mood: Amused
  • Listening to: the rain outside my window
  • Reading: Drawing Down the Moon, by Margot Adler
  • Watching: nothin
So, for the past few days, my life has felt like the first chapter in a bad romance novel, where the author attempts to prove his or her "skills" as a writer through a series of indirect characterizations revealing the protagonist to be a disillusioned realist who's coming off of a bad break-up and at the point of giving up. Which is a drastic improvement from the bad teen angst novel it had been prior to that. Especially since it's only chapter one. Things stand to get a lot more interesting.

No deviations yet, mostly because I can barely draw, but I feel weird having a DA without posting, so I will have some, though if you're reading this I'll pry already have some up.

I write, mostly, and make random forays into the world of colorful pop art. I also play guitar, trumpet, and French horn, but I don't believe you can post recordings, nor do I have any anyway.

And...blah, nothing more to say.

C’est aussi un signe d’une complicité entre deux personnes;-)

Thank you for the :+fav: I truly appreciate it.

As to you so-called lack of drawing skills, I like the four you have posted, so far. (The Who were awesome. Their music will rock forever) Your style is raw, a bit primitive, and straight from a place that runs deep. I may be just an old hippie type, but these four feel fine to me.

Remember, I :+fav: what I love as my way of saying "Thanks" for sharing your work.

Alice In Wonderland will be fantastic and not necessarily rated R. PG-13 at the most. Tim Burton is the best director in the whole world and can do film adaptations of books-well. It'll be way closer to the books than the crappy Disney cartoon.

Have a little faith ;)

Some people worship God, I worship Emmett Cullen. People think I'm weird, but I don't see the difference.
